Color options for a 1965 International Cub

Postby offdutyangler » Fri Jun 27, 2014 7:38 pm

What were the color options for a 1965 International Cub? I read that the standard option was the white and yellow however was Farmall red an option back then from the factory?

I ask because I'm days away from pulling the trigger on my first Cub (obviously a 1965) and I want to restore it to factory specs. I grew up on a farm and we had two Farmall tractors (M and H) and I have always associated the red with farming and the yellow/white with government use.

Thank you

It's your tractor, paint any color you want. Farm tractors should be red.

1965 Yellow an White was the Standard Color but you could get a Industrial option where it could be either Yellow or Red with White hood an Wheels. Friend Tim has a a Factory Red 1971 Model that's the best paint scheme on the square nose's

But, if you want you can always paint it like the 1964 Model Red Square nose cubs like my 1964 model they look really sweet.

Yeller kinda grows on you and they show up better in the fog. The first 12V Cubs were 'Farmall' with red and white (find Boss Hogs thread) like Brendon's. Only 300 or so made, they are the best looking Cubs in my opinion.

Only painted some of my 65 Lo Boy.
