Where to buy a Woods 59-C2 belt

Postby offrink » Tue Jun 24, 2014 6:26 pm

Is this something I have to order from woods or can I pick it up at tractor supply? I hope I don't have to order it. Mine is a 59C2 using a woods belt #4152 or a 21/32 x 213.4. Does that sound right?

I get my mower belts from the auto parts store, 1/4 mile down the road.

Give the auto parts store the belt dimensions and ask for their premium belt. They should have the belt delivered and in stock the next day.
I have an excuse. CRS.

That is the key word. Anything less and you can expect to be replacing the belt quite often.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I've had good luck with industrial mill suppliers like Motion Industries. The key is stated is premium or heavy duty.

I would think a bit less from the auto parts store. If you have more than one auto parts store in your area, check prices.

It's less expensive to purchase locally than to make a round trip to the nearest big city, my case, 50 to 60 miles depending on store location. Or has happened, part not in stock and have to make the trip again in a couple days.

I get all my belts for mowers at a bearing supply store or a industrial supply store. my woods 59-C takes a B 210" belt. the B stands for 5/8" wide. cost about 40 bucks with tax. Usually are goodyear belts. Had mine on my mower for going on 10 years. and while I dont abuse the mower I dont cut it any slack either.

B series Power Master belt for sure. Here's a link to NAPA for a B210 belt. http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Catal ... 0445146106 Most parts places would need to order it in usually without a shipping charge. Shop around for the best pricing, just be aware shipping can be a deal breaker sometimes.
