Tis a beauty, ain't she. No plans as of now. Negotiating with owner. Not run in a few years. Appears to have a new radiator and head. Suspect freezing damage, caused those to be replaced. No compression, If we can come to an agreement, it might follow me home.
Lo-boy with fast hitch, and york rake.

Wow Ed, You find all the neat stuff!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

My suggestion for low compression: weld up the spark plug holes! Why not!

I am not sure that welded is quite the right description of that wheel, looks more like daubed, as in mud dauber.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

John, probably dissimilar metals, not welding together, well.

That wheel welding, are you sure it isnt just chewed gum thats hardened over the years. But I admit, I doo like the looks of that pretty cast iron seat. ANd it looks like there is enough room beside the seat to place the battery. That would help when I have to fiddle with the battery connection when trying to start mine.
Tractors are like watermelons: the RED is good and you throw away the GREEN.

I think it would look nice hanging on my shop wall.

What is the odd switch with all of the wires going to it?

I always find it amazing what owners do to their tractors to keep them running and working! These were definitely working machines back in their day!

Solenoid. As to why it was done. I haven't got a clue.

Edit. It appears the dash has a keyed ignition switch. Perhaps someone installed a keyed ignition switch to keep thieves from stealing this fine, outstanding, beautiful, piece of - - ahhhh - -- -, machinery.
I have an excuse. CRS.
