I was wondering how much my Cub weighed roughly.
I bought a new trailer that it will fit on but I'm not sure if it is heavy duty enough.
I have duals and one set of rear weights.
Thanks!

Re: How much do our Cubs weigh?
My guess, 2500 to 2700 lbs. That is provided the rear tires are not loaded with fluid.
Basic Cub weighs around 1500 lbs. Then start adding the additional weight to the base tractor's weight.
For trailer weight purposes, I would use 3000 lbs.

I have an excuse. CRS.

Thanks Eugene!
I thought it might be a little too heavy.
My trailer says max. pay load is 2,000 lbs.
Oh well, I guess I'll have to keep using the family car trailer.
Thanks again!

If it makes you feel better, I must say that this cub looks WAY BadA$$ with the duals, chainsaw carrier and cooler holder on the tranny case...

Schultzie, I second Hengy. You have inspired me. I think I'll build a similar chainsaw mount for my 1957 McCulloch model 35A.

Re: How much do our Cubs weigh?
How about some closeups of the chainsaw carrier and the cooler mount? I would like to copy it on one of my
Cubs. Thanks,
Billy Ray

Well my cubs with your cub, I'd say somewhere around 8500. Add the Waller cubs and I can't count that high!

Wow, total weight? I need to take a look in the barn.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: How much do our Cubs weigh?
On our farm we use the cubs only for cultivating and have taken the wheel weights off so there is less compaction in the soil- an orange tractor plows snow and moves dirt!
