magneto wire

I am converting a mag back to original that someone had converted to 12 volts. Where does the wire that comes from the coil connect in the distributor ? :lost:

I meant the wire that comes from the coil inside the dist that has a spade lug on it. Sorry for the bad question.

I belive you are talking about the wire that is from the coil that goes through the hole in the magneto houseing and is atached to the post that the points are atached to.

Yeah, it comes from the mag coil, through a hole into the distributor. Does it hook to the same post that the condenser hooks to that passes through to the kill switch?
