Old IH Implement Blue Paint

Postby PVF1799 » Mon Apr 14, 2014 7:34 pm

I'm getting ready to paint the cultivator shields for Princess '55. Is the original blue implement paint available in rattle cans and by the quart? ASking because I know there are two IH Reds so I have to be careful when I go the IH Dealer that they give me the right one.

Thanks for your help, Ken

Ace hardware carries IH blue.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

If you can find an Ace Hardware store nearby, buy this or have them get it for you:

It's very good paint with a great nozzle.

If anyone has a link to this paint then please post it. I can search the ACE hardware site and this paint wont come up. I went ot the local ACE and they didnt have a can that looked like this.
Tractors are like watermelons: the RED is good and you throw away the GREEN.

My local Ace store used to stock it, but now I have to ask them to get it from their warehouse. I'm thinking that it wasn't a good seller, and shelf space is valuable, so they keep the more popular paints in stock. Hope they never stop making it altogether. Ask a store manager or the guy/gal in the paint department to order it for you.

They should have, or be able to get it, in quarts also.
