Potato Plow
Well I'm proud to say I've got the garden planted and most everything is up and growing. We got a little over 3" of rain in the last 24 hrs and I expect everything on our sand hill to take off as I put out fertilizer a day before the rain. I've seen several pictures of fast hitch and three point hitch potato plows but not of the older drawbar plows, although I'm sure they exist. Can someone point me in the right direction? Is there a company that still builds them and what is the cost? I'd like to see some pictures and/or perhaps one at work on youtube. Thanks in advance, Tom.

Re: Potato Plow
They mad a c-16 middle buster for the cub. My grandfather had one on his cub, but I had to search high & low to find another. Lost track of my grandfathers cub after my brother sold it. Very scarce and usually not cheap. I felt extremely lucky to find one that I could afford. Haven't ran across another since.

Re: Potato Plow
They came with gauge wheels on the front. Mine doesn't have it, neither din my grandfather's or any other I have seen or heard of that was actually used. I'm guessing there is a reason for that.

Re: Potato Plow
I have a "horsedrawn" middlebuster plow that the PO modified to pull attached to the drawbar. A chain link to the lift rod at the rear of the tractor raises and lowers the plow.
