Cub 22 mower pitman arm

Postby leerenovations » Fri Apr 04, 2014 4:50 am

Just got a new used Cub 22 mower and need to make a pitman arm. I hate to ask this because I know I am probaly overlooking it. Someone had a diagram on how tomake a pitman on here. I did a search and all I found was a hyperlink to the manual server and when I click it it says "server error". Does anyone have this diagram or plan readily available?

Rudi's server is down. Try this link from Dennis

Many of the files on Rudi's server are currently unavailable. While Dennis has been able to link to a lot of those files temporarily, the sketches file, which includes the pitman arm, is not available through the temporary link.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Thanks for the link. And they are on sale for $17. I was just too tight fisted to want to spend money on something I could make. But the cheaper it gets, the more inclined I am to use my debit card.

As usual, you guys rock!

Check your farm and ranch store. They usually have blanks for a few dollars. Just need to measure, drill the holes and cut to length.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Well, then can anyone tell me the total length and the distance to the first hole on either end? I know TSC sells blanks, but I saw on an earlier post that the TSC ones were a little smaller than the standard IH one. And I think someone said that that would cause problems like messing up the timing. But I forgot where I read that.
