Time to remove the blade??

Well, it's April, most of the snow is gone and snow hasn't been in the forecast for a few days, I wonder if it's safe to remove the blade??

Well, you never know, Ricky. I still have mine on, but I have a brush pile to burn this spring and the blade is handy to push unburned stuff into the coals.

Safe? Yes, if you're careful you shouldn't get hurt. Smart? Well..... I'm going to remove mine in a couple of days so I can mow asparagus fern. But I might leave the blower on for another week. Vern

I'd like to take the blade off so I could put on my cheap and dirty rake to do some yard cleaning.

We had snow here in May last year but in Missouri you never know what you are going to get with the weather.
We had snow, rain, 70 degrees, and 32 degrees all in 24 hours not to long ago

Mine's still on, and will be until the ground gets solid enough to begin working the garden. Any mowing will get done with the CC. (with chains to prevent spinning, hehe)
Somehow, the blade and plow at the same time doesn't work...hehe

I removed the blades from the one Cub and one Cadet. However the other blade equipped Cub still has a blade on it. It's great be a member of the MCC AND to have three Cubs and three Cadets.

Chains came off the Super A but left the blade on just in case. Hopefully wheel weights and loaded tires will suffice without the chains. At this point I figure if we get more, it will melt pretty quick. Field work is still aways off so no hurry to totally switch over.

Chains came off -if snow comes now it can melt on it's own! Disced the garden yesterday ahead of the rain! Don't have the FH disc rebuilt yet. Dusty B
