Cylinder head bolts
What is correct length of the head bolts. What happens if bolts are left standard bolt length. (1/2" increments ) I purchased Grade 8 bolts from a area fastener supplier. Do they bottom out or extend further into water jacket?

Fastenal has grade 8 bolts that are correct length - correct torque is 45 # (don't ask me how I know!) Dusty B
