Mott flail mower rear mount. Also use to tension/adjust the mower drive belt.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Eugene,

Should these be yellow or cream in color?

That one appears to be cream color. Not yellow.

Looks like the seller wanted to keep the mower but didn't want the brackets. If his plans to make a self propelled mower don't work out you will probably be able to pick it up for a reasonable price since he won't have all the parts.

The brackets should be yellow like the mower.

Looks like the idler pulley assembly is also there, but mounted in the wrong place.

It looks like the seller left a lot of the flail attachments on the Cub.

I have all the attachments. He just kept the mower itself.

Well, I stopped by Harbor Freight on my way home today to buy some "junk". The neighbor that sold me my Loboy snuck up on me and started talking to me. During one of those conversation silences, I said "So, are you ready to sell me that flail mower?" We talked about it a little, and I could tell he wasn't exactly ready to get rid of it. So we parted with me telling him, when you're ready for me to come get it, holler at me. As I was coming up to the house, we met again in the road. He rolled his window down, and told me he would gather up the new blades, bearings, and belts he has for the flail and I could come get it. So, for $50 I will soon have a flail for my Loboy. :{_}:

Eugene, Didn't you really want to say it was a "steal"?

I was going to call it a theft. But if cash changes hands, then it's not a theft.

Last belt cost me $36-, one bearing was another $36- a few years back. Not sure what I paid for a new set of knives, but it was considerably more than $50-. The deck, another $100- or more.

Is the bracket that attaches to the front right rock shaft on the tractor for lifting the deck? If not, get it when up picking up the deck and parts.
