Plowing snow for real!

Postby Dusty B » Tue Mar 18, 2014 8:45 pm

Literally did plow snow today!! LOL! DID use the moldboard plow today tho - did the inside of the high tunnel hoop house. Outside is still a bit wet and frozen - actually have snow left where it drifted up. couldn't resist the pose tho! Dusty B

Probably not to many poses like that with a cub. Good shot.

be careful, working the soil when moisture content is too high will break it down and cause compaction. it takes years for the soil to recover.

I was doing the other kind of plowing and you can see my yield is good. We've had so much snow this winter I'm running out of room to put it.
