Just curious which carburetor do you like best? (3/4 IH or Zenith) I think they both work quite well.

Gary,
Your question is like the proverbial questions:
Which oil is best?
Which spark plugs are best?
I think that your observation that "they both work quite well," is absolutely correct.

Re: Carburetors
Im not an expect by any stretch of the means but my luck with running the larger zenith carb on the early C60's makes them a little more sluggish (throttle response) compared to the IH carb. However I did notice a gain when I switch my late C60 in a 154 to the zenith carb.

Re: Carburetors
Having both carburetors, the only difference I have noticed is that the Zenith takes a bit longer to "warm" up than the IH carb.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: Carburetors
I had a Zenith on my 154 that I liked a lot. For some reason at the end of every mowing season it would start to act up. I would have to run it half choked to get home. I'd get home, pull the carb, and clean out the crud, and I was good to go for another year. Maybe it was because I only mowed ditches with it, and in dry weather it was a dead grass dust bowl. I always kept that expensive air cleaner clean or replaced when needed. I haven't had any issues with my IH carbs.
