CUBFEST FUN AND FIX ME UP !

Postby Marion(57 Loboy) » Sat Jun 18, 2005 11:34 pm

My Loboy hasn't charged the batt by itself for about 2 years now.

I bought a new regulator and took it with me. With Bigdog's expert knowledge and wiring skills we got the new regulator on, polarized the generator and YAHOOOO! I don't have to charge the battery every other time I want to use it!! Charges like a champ now  Hats off to Bigdog ! Thanks a bunch!

Now for the fun!! I participated in my first ever TRACTOR PULL !!! WHAT A HOOT :) I think I placed about in the middle of the pack.

There's purty cubs; not so purty cubs; many many many interesting implements; there's even a cub with a V6 on it ! 143 HP !!! TOO COOL MAN ! The chicken dinner was 100% FIRST RATE ! !

There's great folks to meet and talk to, and to top it all off for the day, I found a fast hitch plow coulter...COMPLETE AND IN SUPER CONDITION in the swap meet area!!! We even had a corn sheller going and flinging the kernels fifty feet or more out the chute!!!! Where else besides Cubfest will ya see that !!! hehehehe

Too much fun!!...can't wait to get back there tomorrow mornin for the tractor games!

Too bad there's not a roving Cub repair crew that goes around and help fix Cub problems. Don't get me wrong, this board is great for asking questions and getting expert advice, but you can't beat having an expert there with you to ask questions and SHOW you how to do something. After seeing all the pictures and reading the posts, I wish I was able to be there and share all the fun. Glad everyone had a good time, and who knows, maybe next year! :)

you just need to bring the broken cub to cubfest :) we even had one that was fresh from paint (i mean inside 24hours) that needed reassembly, fluids, wiring, timing, fuel, clutch adjustment, etc..... but it ran that afternoon! 8) 8) very 8) now there was another happy face :D

Joey
Find a place to have it. Advertise on here and people will come. Only needs to be for an afternoon. There are cub people with various skill levels in all parts of the US and world. Most people prefer going to something within 150-200 miles of the house. This makes regional gatherings work quite well. There will probably always be one or two big gatherings. Still need small gatherings also to pass knowelage around.
