Seatpost Question
Well i have another quick question.. I have a VERY stuck seatpost.. Has anyone run into this problem? If so, how did you get it to move freely? I haven't heated it yet, but its one the list.. My other question is How easy is it to gte ahold of a pan style seat for a cub? The cub i'm restoring has a seat off a old horse drawn implement, and the future father-in-law says he remembers that seat on it since he was seven.. (first time he drove it.) Some 44 years ago.. So there's no hope having the ORIGINAL seat. . Well thanks for everyone's vast knowledge.. Without you guys... I'd still be grinding parts instead of electrolysis!

Well those are easy questions.
I use a couple of products that work real well. First one is Solvo-Rust from Loctite. Excellent product. One of the best penetrating oils I have ever used. Oh, don't bother with WD-40 - not worth a pinch of possum bottom Other product is the CaseIH brand of pentrating oil. Works well too.
Second Question - simple answer.
TM Tractor Parts
JP Tractor Salvage
Chown Tractor Parts.
All three are excellent to deal with. One of them should have a pan seat. Be a lot better than what we refer to as a Ba..buster here!
Enjoy the tank -- I found out I can actually have the 1600 litre tank that I wanted...
