...that's right up there with the carb we pulled off CTdave's Cub at ConnectiCubFest 2007.

Amazing what water and gas will do when left in these things.

Roy, I'd get a shovel and bury it before you catch something contagious from it.

This couldn't possibly have been from a running tractor !

1953 Cub, acquired fall 2013. Runs much better thanks to tuneup by Art Chester!
Next, replacement of old parts (radiator, seals, etc.) + painting.

Plus 3 JD garden tractors (425,318,140)
& two Buick Roadmaster station wagons

Pull the jet, and blow it out! I'm sure it'll run just fine after that.

Only if those new bolts and washers have a new carb attached to them.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

" Ran when parked " but don't they all. That is the worst looking carb I have ever seen.

Came off a cub I salvaged from the junk man. Already on the trailer when we found it.
Too good to part out, by popular vote.

Appears to have had water standing in it for a long time. What kind of shape is the engine in? What is the curved piece on the throttle shaft?
