Getting ready to paint the International badge. I hope to get an extreme close up soon. (or an answer to my quesion) Thanks in advance!

I've been looking at the other International badge and it's not an extreme close up. Is it all bare aluminum accept for the black letters or is it painted white?

OK guys here are some updated pics.
Emblems are all done and I got the gas tank cleaned and painted RED.
I think now is the tough part. Getting the rear end of the tractor loosened up, working as it should and looking nice.

Is that a paint booth?? or a re-purposed meat locker? JK Everything is looking real good. Your buddy owes you BIG time!!

...oh yeah, you should be able to get the other brake pedal loose, lots of Blaster or Kroil and patience. You may want to disconnect the linkage for now.

Yes, that is a paint booth. Where I work we have a small paint booth to paint our custom machines and we are allowed to use it as long as nothing is in it at the time.
Man this is the first time for painting with a pro-sprayer vs a rattle can and I am hooked on it. I will only use the rattle can's for small stuff from now on.
I haven't done much to the LoBoy lately. (It's been colder than a well digger's @$$ here in N.E. Indiana) Hopefully I can get back on it this weekend.

Well it's finally warmed up a bit so I'm back on the project.
I'm trying to get the left brake freed up. I took the torch to it and got it to move a little. So I know it's broke free.
Here's my problem.

I had a big wrench on it and it broke. So now my plan is to take it out and repair it. That should be easy, but the problem is getting it out. Does someone have an exploded veiw of that assembly? It looks like I can take off the brake pedal and maybe the clutch pedal too and then pound it out. I just don't want to break anything pounding it out. Like the clutch.

If I remember the sequence right, you remove the left brake lock bolt, spray about a can of PB Blaster in that hole and into where the shaft enters the brake and clutch pedals, wait...let it set a day or two!! Spray another can of PB Blaster (I know, exaggerating a tad here!)...maybe add some heat, THEN start working on moving the shaft (Probably obvious, but it moves from right to left, out the left side of the clutch housing (torque tube)). Don't go whaling on the right end of the shaft or you will mushroom it and it will never move.

Someone with better ideas will, I'm sure, come along. Meanwhile, good luck!

Oh boy. The more you guys show me the more questions I have.
To get this out, am I gonna have to split it here? (green arrow) Or do I just need to take the bolt out of the clutch? (orange arrow)

If you are using only WD 40, you might switch to more of a penetrating oil like PB Blaster or Kroil. As far as I know, you shouldn't have to split the tractor just to remove the shaft.
