I think the cub would make a wonderful Christmas gift for your grandson, sure seems that he has taking a interest in the tractor,

Cal, Your Cub is coming along nice. If you sell it you will be looking for another one in no time. It gets in your blood and you will want to do another one!!!

Thanks for posting the pictures. If your Grandson doesn’t want the tractor somebody is going to get a nice tractor after you sell it.

Nuttin wrong with Cubs in the city..... I have several in the 'big city', although I only really use one.

I do have a tiny bit of advise.... the VR and generator rely on the 'mechanical' connections for ground. So you want the corner of the VR where the little braid is to have a good ground at the bolt. The generator is grounded through the bracket, so the where it connects (bolt) should have clean metal. No ground, no work.... guess how I know that??

Looks awesome and I think your grandson would be a fine owner... so far Ed D is the only one to give a kid a Cub for Christmas. You could be the second!
