Woods Rotary Cutter Lift Setup

I feel lazy this morning, so rather than search the archives I will ping the experts. I have a Woods 42 rotary cutter that I have rebuilt. I am now have mounting it on the Cub. It appears to me that the center chain clevis on the cutter body is positioned too far back to permit a straight upward lift of the mower by the standard rockshaft arm. Is there supposed to be a rearward extender arm of some type that attaches to the standard rockshaft arm?

Thanks Rudi. It looks like there are three flat iron straps, one on the rockshaft that extends the lift point to the rear and two others that provide lift while allowing the linkage to flex if the mower is pushed up for some reason. If someone has this lift setup, please provide me with the the dimensions of the three flat iron lift pieces. They should be easy to fabricate. Thanks.

Part of what you're looking for I think. Sorry it doesn't have all the dimensions this was about the upper arm of the three pieces. I'll try to get the other measurements Tuesday if I remember.

The arm is made from a piece of steel 12" long, 1-1/2" wide and 3/8" thick.
The overall length is 11-3/4" after the bend is made.
The offset is about 1-1/8".
I measured the three holes at 5/8", but I guess since the bolts are 5/8" the holes should be 11/16".
The long end with the two holes is flat for 7-3/8" from the end of the bar to the beginning of the bend.
The short side with the single hole is flat for 3" from the opposite end of the bar from previous measurement to the beginning of the bend (measured on the opposite side of the bar from the long side flat measurement).
The single hole is centered 3/4" in from the short end.
The double holes are centered 1/2" and 6-3/16" from the long end (double check these with the holes in your rockshaft).
For reference;
The middle arm is 8-1/2" long and it is 5-1/2" between holes. The upper hole is larger for a bushing and there is a corner of the bottom end folded over to act as a stop against the lower arm...............

Scrivit, That's progress!! Thank you for your effort on the dimensions of the two pieces you provided. It is much appreciated. I am getting by now with a chain but it obviously has to exert a strong forward pully in order to lift the deck, which I would like to avoid. I'll bet most of these mowers have long since lost these lifting pieces.
Woods sells hardened bolt bushings to fit the rear mounting arm holes that would likely work for the lift arm.

I have 4 woods 42s and they all have them , If you buy cheap mowers you most likely want have all the parts

Boss Hog/Sonny, When you get a chance would you put a tape measure on the bar leading from the mower deck to the middle bar. I still need a fix on the length of that piece. Thank you.

Here's the rest of the measurements I promised. All are the same 3/8" x 1-1/2" flat bar.
Middle bar
bushing is 1" OD and goes at the top (inside bushing to fit 5/8" bolt)
bottom hole is for a 1/2" bolt

As it is mounted the front lower corner of the bar is folded diagonally across the bar at a 45 degree angle and turns inward towards the tractor. The triangular face of the tab ends up being folded 90 degrees to it's original position. The tab starts 7-1/4" from the top on the front side and is the bottom corner on the rear.
Bottom bar
21-1/2" overall length
holes for 1/2" bolts at each end centered 3/4" from end
top end also has holes at 1-3/4" and 2-3/4" from the end for height adjustment
Hope this helps getting it made. Of course there's always "plan B"; the last time I was at JP's they had several on the shelves.
