I just picked up a '76 Cub and these items came with it along with a 54A blade and lots of other goodies. Attached to an original "New" International Cub sales brochure I received with the deal is a business card from the selling dealer with handwritten prices of "Cub $3495", "plow $50" and "blade $300." "$3998.80 including tax" is under the above prices. MI sales tax was 4% at the time so the math works out. The tractor does not have a fast hitch but of course has hydraulics.
I couldn't figure out what was going on with the rockshaft unit as I had not seen one like this before. I'm assuming it came with the tractor because of the plow but there is no depth control unit(or mention of one in the quoted prices). It appears to be parts from a master control lever modified for a touch control rockshaft. The only weld I see is just below the 3 holes where it appears the tab was taken off a rockshaft/lever assy(514298R92) and reattached. Dealer modification?
I thought it a pretty interesting rig. I'm wondering if IH was running out of rockshaft units at this point in time? The dealer unloaded a direct attach plow they had laying around without a depth control? Maybe that's why the plow/jointer appear to have been used very little, if ever. Can a direct attach plow be used w/o a depth control? I've only run the L-194 fasthitch plow. The owner couldn't get it to run right so he put it back in the barn? Depth control units were hard to come by from a dealer in '76? Who knows.
Looking at the rockshaft rig, I'm not sure it'll even go on this tractor because of the deluxe seat without some more mods.
Just thought I'd share. Wild speculation or general comments are certainly welcome!

Re: Odd Master Control Lever/Rockshaft Unit
Since we all like pics, here are some more. '53 Super A was part of the deal too.
Cub also came with the Woods mower, cultivators, swinging drawbar, splitting stands(which I was just about to make), spare cultivator shanks and shields, some tune up parts and misc odds/ends. The Super A came with cultivators, 1A-60 blade, tire chains and a homemade rear carry-all platform.
The owner was cleaning out the last of his stuff after having a number of Farmalls over the years. Looks like I got the last of it. It was nice that he lived less than a mile away too! Getting it all home was very painless.

Re: Odd Master Control Lever/Rockshaft Unit
I see someone else posted a pic of their handlift conversion. I guess it's more common than I thought.
You guys can cut Boss some slack. This "haul" was not actively being offered for sale. The stars/moon aligned in a conversation at a local Centennial Farm celebration. I did some follow up after the party and brought the stuff back to our farm a month later.
After seeing all your "hauls" over the years Boss, isn't it nice for the Farmall/IH gods to spread the love?
