umbrella again

Postby tglass » Sun Jun 05, 2005 10:29 am

Now that I've finally loosened up (and got hot enough) to get an umbrella I don't know which one to buy. Heritage has straight and bent shaft, different mounting brackets etc.. Don't know what to order.

I like this one. It is from Heritage Farm Products.

The bent shaft is the one that bends up and around the umbrella. Either will work on the Cub, just depends on which type you like. Get the universal mounting kit. I think it's around $25.00. The mount will bolt to one of the manual lift bolts on the top of the rear end. It comes with two adjustable rods which mount on the umbrella tube at one end and if you bend the taps on the other end you can bolt one to the shift lever cover and the other to one of the bolts on the light mount on the back of the battery box. I'm sure there is other ways you can tweek it to mount another way.
Always try the easiest thing first.
