which wiring harness?

Postby sirlan » Fri Jun 03, 2005 5:55 pm

I plan on replacing all the wiring soon. I was looking at YTmag.com at their wiring harnesses and they have like 6 or so. Which one is a complete harness?
Or is there a better place I should buy from?

Thanks
Greg

need more info. year, mag or distributor, cut out or voltage regulator, 1 or 2 wires to each headlight, etc. that is the reason so many are listed.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Ok. That makes sense. I'll have to get a little more info myself. All I know right now is that it's a '49 with a mag.
Thanks
Greg

Hey Greg. I have a '48 with single headlight wires and a cutout relay. I purchased p/n 351325R91 from here http://www.cngco.com/oem.electric.html ........ You never have too many sources to choose from ............... Hope this helps.

Call Ken Updike at Carter & Gruenewald. Tell him what you have and he will get you the right harness.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

I received a new 7 conductor wiring harness from John Brillman last week. I was very impressed with his quality craftsmanship. He duplicates the original cloth braided insulated conductors that came on the original older Cubs. If you are interested check him out http://brillman.com/

He threw in the cut out lead at no extra charge, and shipped to me in 3 days.
