Visiting the Old Home Place

Entered the 2013 Cass County Fair Parade this summer in Pleasant Hill, MO. After the parade was over and while I was in downtown P-Hill, I drove over and snapped a picture of my 1948 Cub with Grosshart post hole digger in front of the building where it was made. This used to be the home of J. R. Prewitt & Sons Manufacturing who built diggers, tractor-mounted cement mixers and reverser/reducers (among other machines for industry). Had their own forge in this facility where they made cast iron as well.

Camera phone; sorry for the quality.

Stanton,
That's pretty cool! Also, beautiful tractor. I really like the white wheels and grill. I bet that post hole digger is "fun" in the parades, watching for low wires and tree branches..... Just how high up is that drive shaft?
