Demo Twins and the Rest of the Collection

Postby Rudi » Tue Jul 23, 2013 3:23 pm

A chum of mine who I have mentioned a number of times over the years who has a very unique set of Demo Cubs -- mated :D , a very rare W-6 Schramm Compressor and a few other Letter Series tractors along with a number of antique IH trucks sustained a huge loss on Sunday. Harold Jones's barn was hit by a tornado. We don't have many of them at all, maybe a couple over the last 40 years or so, but this one did some damage. I don't know how the Cubs made out but I heard that a few tractors became airborne ... some of the trucks were damaged :( and the barn is a total loss.

Here is the on-line version - ‘God was looking after us then’

Check out the video .. some of the trucks are visible behind Harold.

Looks to be a pay site. But even w/o reading the article, your description sounds unfortunate. Was any of his family injured? Hope not.

Okey Dokey .. let's see what we can do .. and yes this is part of my subscription.

This one should work - Tornado confirmed in New Brunswick, has a couple pics and a video or two. Harold's barn was 150 years old and was a family farm/homestead for a number of generations IIRC.
