I always speed shift my cubs when mowing from f to r and dump the clutch before the mower coasts to a stop!---has always worked for me!---as for the roadranger in a semi, you never touch the clutch once you take off with them! I have driven from 10 speeds to 24 speed units and shifted all of them them the same way! thanks; sonny
