Database Information Call...

Postby RaymondDurban » Sun Apr 14, 2013 8:09 pm

I've been plugging away at the next release for the Database, and wanted to put a call out for more numbers!

I'm currently at 1200 lines of information on the FCub, 215 for the LoBoy, and just 98 for the Numbered Series.
I'd like to boost those numbers up before the next release! So, if you'd like to participate, PM me, Email me [ohyeah76(at)yahoo.com], or post your information here on the Forum.
I'd also like to get more information on any Cub Power Units that are around.

Here is the link for the previous call: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=75718#p607732
You can see the databases in their current status by clicking the links in my signature line, or visiting Rudi's manuals site.
Thanks to all those who have participated!!

Raymond,
There is a Cub Power Unit at Zagray Farm in Colchester, CT.
We should be able to scare up some numbers for you in a couple of weeks at CTCubFest.
Here's a picture of it at CTCubFest 2007.

Sounds great Peter, any information on the engine itself would be wonderful!

As a reminder to all, I need at least two data points for each tractor. The tractor SN is the best starting point, the EngSN is next, then Eng Cast Code and PN, and on with the rest of the tractors numbers and codes. I understand that some numbers can be hard to read, and I don't expect anyone to scrape the paint to get information. So, if the EngSN is painted over thick and can't be made out, skip it and gather up any other numbers you can that have categories on the Database.
I appreciate everyone's time it takes to get this information!

Can the Data Collection Form be filled out online (I was unable) or do you want it printed off, filled out, and mailed to you? I have the info for my '55 Cub. I can also just give it over this thread if you want. Thanks for all your work!

Dale, unfortunately the form is not able to be filled out online. I made that up so you could print it out, saving you from having to use such a long entension cord to drag the computer out to the barn!! :P If you have them written down already, you can just PM them to me, or post here if you want. Thanks!!

Here is all the data I could find. I could not find the casting number on the Head , just the Part # with a J underneath it. Where would it be located?

Hi Bill, I cleaned that area with a wire brush - picked up the head and checked in different light sources from every angle - don't see it on my head anywhere - specifically not in the location shown in the photos. Mystery....

Raymond, I was helping my neighbor start his '55 cub (that I sold him and may buy back) and took the opportunity to get the numbers:

Serial number: 188722 J
Engine: C/C: 3-3-A, P/N: 251341 R7, S/N: 190482
Torque Tube: C/C: 1-9-A, P/N: 351686 R2
Transmission: C/C: 5-20-E, P/N: 351530 R7
Axle Tube: C/C: 1-10-A, P/N: 350798 R?
Touch Control: C/C: 2-15-A, P/N: 360719 R1
Head: ??

That's it for now, I will try to get the missing info, if I can.
