grill style on '52 CUB

grill style on '52 CUB

always thought my CUB was a '52 and the ser # is in 16000's but not sure my grill is correct. grill is a 11 bar with two wider vertical bars and with wire mesh. any pic's to show a 52'grill ?

The 11 bar grill was the factory replacement when they quit making the screen grill. Your 52 grill would have looked like the one below. However, if your serial number is in the 16000's your Cub would be a 1948. Are you sure you don't mean it is in the 160000's?.

My ser# is in the 145000, and the grill is a 4 bar grill.it must be wrong,i also have a tall gas cap I see very few of them in the pics I have viewed.Are they rare or model specific

The four bar grill was offered as the replacement grill. The tall gas cap replaces the original as a fire hazard prevention measure. You can get a free one here: http://www.ihgascap.com

I will be at the Washington Parish Free Fair in Franklinton La. on Oct 21-24 . We have an antique tractor show . I hope to see some of u guys and meet you. I know we have a lot of Farmall tractor at the show .
