Update on front axle extensions:

One side pulled right out - found out on closer inspection that it had been greased at some point. I don't ever recall it being out of the tractor. The other side needed lots of Kroil and heat. Then I used an ironwood block and hand sledge to remove it. Got the inner wheel bearing off easily with the HF bearing splitter. Welded the pivot shaft. She'll be painted Red this weekend after the primer cures for 48 hours. I only need to purchase one bearing, the felt and the seal.

Apart for the first time in my life.

Front Wheel Weights are now ready for installation. These spent a fair bit of time in the blasting cabinet. Now that I have a bigger E-Tank - they will go in there first - then into the cabinet.

Platform
I took a bit of care filling the deck under the battery box and part way forward on the platform. First time using Aluminized Body Filler. I took care to not go too far forward where it's likely to wear differently that bare metal. I'm gonna have that spiffy IH Floor mat from TSC anyhow

I got these bushings out by cutting them with hack saw - then using a small chisel to get them loose. It was a slow tedious process. Let me know if I missed an opportunity to do it easier.

Everyday is like Christmas here in Rex '48 shop. Today this arrived. Great company, sent it saying "send payment when you receive it". He advised that the serial 3 and model number come from books he has from that period. Sent 3 rivet along with it. $24 w/shipping.
