i bought mine from oem. i can't compare it to norms but its built well in my opinion and the price was right. it has the rounded corners like the original. i will measure the gage in the next day or 2.

Mine is coming from OEM - It was more about budget. 14 gauge unpainted is 0.0747 thick. When I get the box - I'll throw the mic on it to see how it measures up. Found this chart - wanted to share - you might it useful.
