1951 Farmall cub. I just put a new radiator in. Everything fit, except the radiator cap. The new one didn't come with a cap. It seems like the spring is to long. So you can't push the cap down far enough to get it on. Any suggestion?

There are 2 different caps sounds like you have a long cap on a short neck. I have a brandy new long cap on my desk at home, too. Only been tried to be used once....
Welcome to the forum!
Here is a link to one of our sponsors. Stock caps were not pressurized.

G'day to you and your '51 Cub
As Bob said, the Cub has a non-pressurized cap although a 3-4 lb cap can be used. Tom and Lynn at TM Tractor do have the right caps and are great to deal with.
Suggest you spend a little comfy time with a cup of coffee or something and read the materials at the links below:

In 51 that is a non pressure cap, it should be just a cap with a gasket on it, no spring under it
