Pushing snow is fun for the first few minutes, then it becomes work not as much fun.

While 75 and sunny sounds nice, I'd hate to miss all that seat time and my 54A blade would feel neglected. Besides the best part of pushing all that snow around is pilling your "alpaca clad sock feet" out of your "snowmobile boots" and doing this.

Warm feet and hands are key to comfort.... In felt lined boots all I wear are thin polyprop sock 'liners'.

For a blade extension, I think the idea of plastic would work too. Trouble with the 55 gallon drums is the curve, but gives you an idea what I am thinking.
