Just wanted to drop a note telling everyone to haunt your local junk yards or metal scrap yards. A friend of mine passes by the local scrap yard in Hammond every day on his way home from work and stops by for a looksee. He comes up with unbelievable finds! He recently found a set of Cub 23A tandem disk harrows for me, missing two bolts and a blade, for the unbelievable price of.........$30! He has found other implements of various makes, parts of tractors, and even a whole tractor for the price of $200! If you have patience and are willing to walk around a junk yard, you can find some great deals.
