Hard rubber tires?
Does anyone know a place for old hard rubber tires? I am restoring a set of Sunflower reel mowers for my Cub. I need new tires for it. The size is 10.85x1.75 with a center hub that looks like 7 7/16". Thanks for any help.

M.E.Miller Tire, http://www.millertire.com , or 419-335-7010 Ext. 4. Their catalog has 10.50 x 1.75, 16 notch with a 6.625" inner diameter listed, and says that is the only size available today, but also says they have many different sizes of NOS ones, in stock.

a lot of the old push or self powered reel mowers used those type tires. you might try a couple of older power equipment places for nos. Hahn-Eclipse is one brand we sold in the 60's that used that type of tire, but i don't remember the sizes, of course.
