O.K. guys...i'm new to the forum and new to the cub engine. I'm rebuilding the engine for a friend and need help aligning the internal timing marks. I know i could get this info from a service manual but i hate to have to buy one just for this build. A picture or written instructions on getting it all back in time would be a great help. I know what your thinking...why didn't he take a pic before disassembly...well, i got it in pieces! Any help would be greatly appreciated! It may be a lot simpler than i think i just know it will have to be done and would like to have the info on hand in advance.

Why not just use the free manuals provided by this forum using the links on the upper right? They will show you everything you need to know and probably easier to explain.

G'day to you and welcome. As Bill said, the manuals are available for free - like an on-line lending library .. print out the pages you need if you don't have a computer in the shop:

If you click on the Site Rules, Regulations, & Important Information, it will point you to  the Welcome Wagon wherein you will find links to many useful sites and topics. One of which is the Cub Manual Server. Enjoy!.

Thanks so much guys..the cub is back together and running like a singer sowing machine! A few minor adjustments here and there and it'll be ready to start the paint work!
