What I could remember the first ’55 Cub Lo-Boys’ had the regular finder on it and it was changed after complaints..so I say 1955 International Cub Lo-Boy

Was the platform shorten on a low boy, or is the final drive rotated over and to the front, causing the need for the fender to be shorten as well? I have more foot room in front of the fender on a standard cub.

The floor board is the same, just took them almost 10 years to figure out that it needed to be cut off

I guess part of my question is when they lowered it did that cause the final drive and fender to be shifted to the front> I have not looked at a low boy up close, but could see that pushing the fender forward almost to the front edge of the platform. Just curious.

Paul, yes, they rotated the LoBoy finals forward in order to lower the Cub.

How many of the cut off fenders have you run into? My '66 (less than 4,000 from the last built) has a full length fender on the right side.

Thanks Bill, and Dale,
So that would mean the wheelbase on a lowboy would be about 8" shorter than a standard Cub.

My 65 and 66 LoBoys have the standard fender on them.
