I would have to guess '55, the first year of the lowboy. If that were it, even with the change, they are a PITA to get your foot over/through the right hand brake.

Dales right I believe. After looking online at a bunch I think it was a standard fender on a lowboy. I don't believe that it was a backyard job on the one we looked at after all.
