Same situation as always, I'm sure. They wait until they have enough requests to make a production run of caps, then they send them out until they run out again. Then they wait until there are enough requests to do another production run of caps...

How hard is it to get caps into Canada.

I filled mine out almost two years ago and never received anything. Do they throw away the requests that ask for more than three caps??

I've received four or more at one time, so that can't be it.

It did not take too long for mine, about 6 weeks.
Guess I should submit my request for my new 'red one'.

I don't buy the theory they wait for orders. You can buy one at the dealer any day of the week. I bought one a couple of years ago because the dealer told me the program was over. They had it in stock. I know better now. If I remember right is wasn't all the expensive, about $15.00.

Dealers can order them as a regular parts order, but current price is $32. The free ones appear to be made in batches. I have gotten one as quikc as 3 weeks, and as long as 3 months.

I ordered one last September on my birthday the 16th and got it a little before christmas.
Guess I should put in an order for one for the power unit.

I dont think the caps will fit the power units, At least not mine. The cap is much bigger on My power-unit tank than the Cubs tanks. Unless they make different sizes of the caps?.

GOOF-Up_Goof-Up

Well this reply I gave turned out to be a big BIG fat error. While out working in the shed today I tried the cas cap from the power-unit on the Cub and found out that they are identical. Sorry for My ignorance. :x

:D :D :P :P Binder books was at the tractor show in Tulare Ca. a couple of weeks ago. She had a supply of caps there so all I had to do was fill out the form and she handed me two. Just lucky I guess!

Ya- who ever manufactures those caps must make a skad of them at a time. The wait time is just a paperwork shuffle. You would think in the interest of safety those things would get mailed out fast when requested. Heck I might get burned up waitin on mine for months on months.
