1954 Farmall Cub cooling system

Postby Gary Blair » Tue Apr 19, 2005 8:24 pm

Just one more question please. Do all the cubs keep pushing coolant from the overflow outlet on radiator? Does not seem to loose a lot, but constantly slowly running out while engine is running. Never has overheated, runs around 150 degrees.
Thanks to Everyone!
Gary

Gary,
Most cubs run a radiator level about 1 1/2" - 2" below the fill neck. Your cub will likely find it's own level and stop spitting fluid if you don't re-fill it. As long as you have fluid above the top of the core, you are OK. This is a normal condition. If you lose fluid below the top of the core, you have a problem.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
