Slight Miss

Postby Harold R » Tue Apr 19, 2005 2:30 pm

Guys, I'm stumped. My '74 has an ever so slight miss. I starts perfectly, runs fine, make good power. But when it's idled down, it runs for a few seconds then sounds like it blows a puff of air out the exhaust, then runs fine for another few seconds. Once idled up, can't detect it. What could it be? :?

Sounds like one of those hunt & search problems to find. Could be bad plug wire/s a bad plug/s or air sucking in where its not supposed to like at the carb/manifold union. :?: :?: :?:
Then came Bronson
