Re: Making a Sediment Bowl Gasket???Try TSC for a gasket. Also try putting your old one to soak in gas and see if that will expand it if it in't broken.

Re: Making a Sediment Bowl Gasket???Ok, I replaced my old Sediment Bowl with a new one purchased from TSC. Upon installing the new SB and then filling with gas immediately the bowl started dripping with fuel. I disconnected everything retightened and inspected could not visibility identify a problem. Following, the reinstallation I filled with gas and it rendered the same result dripping gas from the SB. Next, I set off to NAPA to retrieve the new SB gasket which is very substantial compared to the TSC provided gasket. After, removing the old gasket and comparing to the new NAPA there are two things notably incorrect with the TSC gasket. The first is the thickness and the second is the circumference of the gasket as it relates to complete coverage of the glass bowl. So, with the old gasket if I did not have the bowl positioned correctly on the gasket it would leak. By installing the new gasket no matter where the glass bowl is located there is gasket coverage and it is not leaking. Pictures to follow! Pabst
Re: Making a Sediment Bowl Gasket???Again, another reason why TSC fuel parts are not recommended. CaseIH, Global NH and I guess NAPA are the ones to get. The 61782C91 replacement Sediment Bowl Assembly ranges in price on
from $15.00 to $24.00. Usually around $19.99 at the dealer. They are available at most any dealer. Have no clue what TSC sells em for though.Confusion breeds Discussion which breeds Knowledge which breeds Confidence which breeds Friendship

Re: Making a Sediment Bowl Gasket???I am not really a big pusher of TSC but to be fair there are various sizes of sediment bowl gaskets in any store.

Re: Making a Sediment Bowl Gasket???
That's right. You have to take the bowl with you when buying a gasket since not all manufacturers are alike. I have TSC strainers on half of the Cubs I use and have had zero problems. I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.
