Oil Pump Gears Help
I am putting the 50 engine back together & found that both oil pump gears have a slot for the keyway, making both drive gears. My guestion is does this make any differance. The engine was running with oil pressure before the tear down & these are the gears that was in the motor.

If it was working before, it should still work.
