I have always had a liking for that pretty color scheme. That is one heck of a nice restoration. I always wanted to have a cousin to the Farmall A.

Brian,

The 440 was on my want list to fill the one green slot. The alternate was the 60 standard. The 60 standard won, and it was a departed friend's tractor to boot.

Several years ago when Oliver was the feature tractor at the big Portland, IN show there were a lot of 44s and 440s. There were even conversions... one converted to a vinyard with two short axles and the other converted to a two row with two long axles. They seemed to be unrelated.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 440 is even more rare than the super. I have seen very few of those and like them just as much.

Brian,

I'm sure your expertise far outweighs mine on Olivers, but that seems right.

Cubguy
VERY NICE!!!!!!
Both the 44 &440 demand a high price around these parts. They are VERY HIGH on my want list. I think the combination of offset, small size and 3pt is about perfect. Plus they are just plan nice looking little tractors.

Drop me a few more pics if you have them :o

Very nice job.

If you ever find yourself with one you no longer have space for, give me a call :o   :!: :!: :!:

THAT is one FINE looking tractor. I didn't know Oliver made a small one. I think I learned two things today.
