Front Wheel Brg ?

How about the inner front wheel bearing, is it press on? I have one that needs replacing & I had to take a chisle & hamer to remove it. Does anyone know of a good source for a wheel brg kit.

If you have no IH dealer close you can cross-reference the parts here and pick them up at NAPA. You might also try Carter & Gruenewald online for them.

bought the bearings and the seals from a commercial bearing distributer. cost a little more than simply ordering the kits from C&G` next time that's what i'll do

The kit from Case/IH is the DEAL. Costs about $50 but includes timken bearnings and the seals/felt. Cheaper than I could get just the bearings for!


Carter and Gruenwald (Ken) was the wizard on that one.... Go with the kit!
