The blade I think I have
Ok it looks like I have the McCormick Deering Blade (according to the pics on Rudi's server) It looks like all I need to set it up on the belly is the forward lifting rod and the little attachment thingy that goes on the blade for the rod. Whaddya all think?

Carm, a little flat stock with a couple of 90 degree bends and a lift rod and you'll be in business!

Carm, it looks like from the pictures that there are holes at the front of the main frame. It looks like a 54 with parts missing. It will still mid-mount and work well.

Carm:
It appears identical to my blade which is definitely a McCormick Deering Leveling and Grader Blade.
Course, after I get done, it will be a Cub-54, but that is still a couple months away. Need to get healed first.
The rod is 5/8" stock, 24" centre to centre of each bend. Each bend - one one each end is a 90 degree bend and it is 1-1/2" in length. I have a pic of how George Willer set his up. Just gotta look for it.
Will post them when I find them. They are in my computer some where

Wow, this gets deeper....So, I can turn this into a 54a with money and time....Since i do not plan to use it often, I can just leave it.....And now I can probably make all the parts from common stock. I could still buy the rod, but maybe I will try and make one since there are dimensions. hmmm decisions decisions

Rudi, I hate to disagree, but I believe that is a 54 blade. The McCormick Deering blade doesn't have the brackets under the swivel frame to keep it from dropping down, and uses a bolt in the hole where you set the rignt and left angle to both hold the angle and keep the rear of the bracket up.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
you are part of the problem!!!

Looks zactly like mine, with the parts missing to mount it in the front.
I took all that stuff off and fabbed a mounting bar that goes between the final drive brackets on the Loboy.
I go in forward gear and drag out the gravel in the drive-works great! Does an adequate job the same way with snow; since we don't get much.

Looks like a combo a 54a frame and a 54 blade.
The older frame has a bracket in the center for the lift "rod" the newer one has holes on either side of the bracket for the lift "arms".
The older one doesn't have the brackets under the frame to hold it in place as it swivels, and as stated before the older frame doesn't have the brackets under the swivel for the angle bracket to keep it from falling.
So I guess you have the best of both worlds, you can get the parts for the newer 54a blade frames at TM tractor, that's where I got mine.
