Origional Radiator birth date

Postby Charles (49) Mo » Sat Mar 19, 2005 6:56 pm

Just replacing our origional radiator that has been family owned since new. 1949... On the top of the tank on the left side is a yellow stamped or stencled date, it is a few months after the serial number date of birth. Haven't checked the casting date tho.

The radiator I replaced on my '49 FCUB had a date stamped on it; October 14, 1949.
