George, I think the best way to match Scruffy`s paint for your headlights might be to hang them under an Eagles nest for a month or more. :twisted:

George, if you use NOS paint and apply it with the shiny side down instead of up it will match pretty close.

If you decide to take advantage of JohnBron's method, we are now host to Bald Eagles in the neighborhood. :lol:
Also have a BIG Turkey Buzzard roost about a mile away - They're soon due to come 'home' for the summer.
I haven't checked to see if they come back at the same time as the buzzards at Hinckley.OH.

A bit of course sandpaper, a tad of battery acid, and a few trips thru the Briar patch ought to get it pretty close.
