by coincidence, I just posted a rear view of one a couple minutes ago. I hope it isn't too murky to be of help.

Pictures of my Lo-Boy mower won't help much at the back end. It is totally different. There are good pictures of both on the TM tractors web site. The L-22 there is my mower.

The belt is a v-belt. The wide band in George's picture is the belt guard.

Go to this page then click on "Cub-22 Mower with 5 ft. cut".

TM tractor parts has pictures from all angles in there gallery. Looks like all the main parts are there. Only thing I see missing is the pulley shield and the shield for the flywheel.
Always try the easiest thing first.

This is the Cub L-22 Mower in the CBI-2A Parts Manual .

Here is the Cub-22 and L-22 Mowers in the MR-5 Parts Manual.

You have some nice work there. How much time do you spend at this?

I am also a furniture/cabinet maker and have been working wood for about 40 years. I had my own custom shop for a number of years until I retired medically.

George does beautiful work and some of his restorations are absolutely magnificent. Wish I could see them in person. He has my attention :!: He is a real craftsman.

He even has wooden tool cabinets :!: :D

From the photo of your shop and the equipment you have, it appears you do some woodowrking also. Besides tractor restoration and collecting, this is my other hobby/part-time business:

Yes, my shop is primarily a woodworking shop with an adjoining machine shop. I guess along with our choice of Cubs, we have furniture and cabinet building and antique restoration in common.

Cubguy, if you need the lower shield, I have one you can have for the shipping. It's a little rough from being in the dirt, but the price is right.
