We have one similar to that for our Farmall B, except it has a metal wheel on the back with a lever to lower and raise it. Always worked pretty well from what I remembered.

I believe i have one for the '48 i'm restoring... Its been awhile since i went digging in the rabbit shed.. That's where all the attachments were put some 15 years ago.
