New implements for Cubs

Postby parts man » Thu Mar 03, 2005 9:37 pm

I was at the "Atlantic Farm Mechanization Show" today in Moncton (just a skip from Rudi's), and I saw tractors and machinery of every size. I thought it might hearten all you Cub fans to know that there are still Cub-sized implements being made. :D

I think it was intended for a large 4 wheeler or small compact tractor, but that spreader would work just fine behind a Cub!!

BTW, it's bigger than it looks in the picture, the top of the sides would be about 30" from the ground.

see them for sale at some of the farm supply places around here every now and then. Intended to be pulled by compact tractors or large 4 wheelers. But prices are outrageous.

For the price of these "NEW" compact spreaders ($1300.-$1500.) I'd rather look a little harder and come up with a Model 100 IH spreader  . I still think you can find them on the market for $1000. or ever less 8) !!! PLUS...You'll have a piece of history that will only appreciate in value over time :D ...You can't say that about these NEW spreaders  !
