I an hoping to paint my old disk plow when the weather warms up a little more if my health permits. I have found traces of blue paint on the rear casting, but don't know if it was all blue or not. Has anyone ever seen one still in the original paint that might know?

Check the IH Paint Committee decisions. I am thinking the rear wheel maybe cream, the main frame and steering contraptions and lift lever are red and the wheel spindle and hub; along with the disk plow hub to be blue.

Searching the archives is a little unhandy with dialup, but Jim Hudson was kind enough to look up the decisions and send me the links. Originals were blue, and the decisisn dated March 1948 changed it to blue. Since I have found traces of blue on mine, I'll go back with blue.
